Reality show 'Big Boss' has been synonymous with Salman Khan. The actor has been hosting the show for the past three seasons and has made it extremely popular with classes as well as masses. Be it his linkups with female contestants like Mahek Chahal and Sana Khan, or his verbal spats with Sapna Bhavnani and Imam Siddiqui, Salman Khan has played a major role making it a hit among the audiences.
However, this year Salman's fans will be in a shock. As per the rumours floating around, the actor may not be able to host the show. Salman, who is busy with his movies and regular health checkups, may have to opt out of the show.
However, to retain the popularity of the show and make sure the TRPS don't fall, the show's producers may approach Salman's arch-rival Shah Rukh Khan to host the show.
The charismatic Shah Rukh Khan had hosted the third season of Kaun Banega Crorepati and was successful in retaining the appeal the show which was initially hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
Bigg Boss is a reality show based on the original Dutch Big Brother format developed by John de Mol. A number of contestants (known as 'housemates') live together in a purpose-built house and are isolated from the rest of the world. Most of these contestants are from TV industry, with few exceptions from Bollywood or sports. Due to its popularity, the show now comes in other regional languages.
